Cavity Slider Soft Closer Instructions
Remove the door from the cavity
Unclip the mounting plate lock tabs to disengage the front and back wheel assemblies and remove door from the cavity pocket
Remove the front wheel carriage
Remove the front wheel assembly as it is no longer required
Leave only the rear wheel assembly in the track
Check the position of the mounting plate
Check the front of the mounting bracket is 80mm from the leading edge of the door, if not remove the mounting plate.
Use the strike plate a guide and re-drill for the correct position
Now fix the mounting plate in the correct position
Check the spring strength setting
Moving the spring position will change the closing speed and resistance when opening the door
The spring strength is factory set on the B position. This will suit the majority of doors.
For smaller or lightweight doors you can move the spring to the C position
For large or heavy doors move it to the A position
Install the soft close unit
Slide the soft close unit into the track
The re-attache the door onto both the front and back mounting plates
Attach the strike plate
Slide the door into the cavity pocket
Position struck plate centred inside top track up against the closing jamb. (Ensure the stamped arrow points towards the door)
Fix strike plate using 2x self drilling screws into the slotted sections as shown ion the video.
Adjust the closing position
Slide the for toward the closing jamb to engage the soft close unit.
If the door slams agains the jamb: loosen screws and slide the strike plate back until the door comes to rest gently against the closing jamb.
Lock the strike plate into position with the remaining self drilling screws as shown in the video
